Cardiff & Swansea

What's involved in the business?

We distribute cards and gift wrap to small independent shops e.g. post offices, newsagents, garden centres, petrol stations, convenience stores and other sites.

We benefit from the changing retail landscape when one in six retail outlets in the UK now sell greetings cards.

Our franchisees work from home using their own car, telephone/fax computer and printer. They store the products in their garage, or in a reasonable size room.

Franchisees sell Plan-it Cards products on 'consignment'. This means the retailer only pays for what they sell. He has no stock write off. No initial outlay. He makes immediate profit with no financial risk. This message makes it easier for our franchisees to build up new business.

Each franchisee visits their customers on a monthly basis (or more frequently if required). They collect their money for the cards at the end of the visit, having merchandised the display.

Each month they visit their shops up-dating the displays and freshening them up with new designs.

All products sold are exclusive to Plan-it Cards and are bought through our on-line ordering system.

With many of the territories now having an established base to work from, the business offers the franchisee tremendous growth potential particularly through the opening of more shops in the territory. There are many potential outlets; petrol stations, post offices, convenience stores, chemists, hospital shops, bookshops, newsagents and more.

Your turnover growth and increased profit margins will come from opening more outlets, and the development of the product range in each outlet.
